Schafgarbe ist eine alte Heilpflanze, ein ausdauerndes Kraut, das einen trockenen Standort und gemäßigte Klimazonen bevorzugt. Schafgabe kann bis zu 80 cm hoch werden. Seit dem Altertum wurde Schafgarbe als Heilpflanze gerühmt, in der Naturheilkunde findet sie Einsatz bei Hautproblemen, Verdauungs-, Muskel- und Gelenkbeschwerden, bei Erkältung und nervöser Anspannung.
